  • Researching information on hate crimes in Germany and the reactions of the crime victims
  • On site research in Libraries, Newspaper archives and interviews
  • Reviewing and editing contents for publications
  • Preparing information for SMN
  • Assisting in ongoing projects

  • Advanced student of economics, business administration, marketing or a related field
  • Possess first experiences in fundraising, event management, communications and marketing
  • Show an interest in the relationship between Africa and Europe, in addition to migration and integration
  • Work under minimal supervision, display a sense of responsibility and flexibility
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Sound computer skills
  • A good command of the German and English language

The working hours are flexible and will be allocated by mutual agreement. This is an unpaid internship but we will work closely with you to get a credit for the internship as part of your training.

To be considered for an internship applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Advanced student of communications, journalism, German language or a related field
  • Possess first experiences in PR and communications, such as writing press releases, updating the press database and mailing lists and compiling press materials
  • Show an interest in the relationship between Africa and Europe, in addition to migration and integration
  • Work under minimal supervision, display a sense of responsibility and flexibility
  • Be able to work under pressure
  • Audio computer skills
  • A good command of the German and English language

  • Possess first experiences in organizing events
  • Sound research skills
  • Show an interest in the relationship between Africa and Europe, in addition to migration and integration
  • Work under minimal supervision, display a sense of responsibility and flexibility
  • Be able to work under pressure
  • Sound computer skills
  • A good command of the German language
  • English and French language skills are a plus
