Businesspeople with migration background in Germany often have intercultural communication problems because of lack of knowledge of the German culture and the German labor market. Diversity training is therefore an effective way to tackle these problems. In the past, the companies turned to AfricanTide, the migrant self-organization, for support.
In cooperation with the Fernuniversität Hagen, a strategy for personnel development competence in the field of "diversity management" has been developed with the implementation of which the EH companies first under guidance, then continuously independently optimize access to training in order to ensure the supply of skilled workers in their own companies.
An "Intercultural Dialogue Forum" and a "Project Advisory Council" have been created, through these network structures, there will be a unified exchange of knowledge between each other and within the companies.
