This report encapsulates the details of a ground-breaking project aimed at enhancing further education in Bayelsa State by implementing didactic curricula from Germany. The project focused on training solar technicians, supporting sustainable self-employment measures, and facilitating social employment integration. The initiative, a tripartite partnership, comprising of the German Federal Ministry of Education, the Bayelsa State Government and the AfricanTide Union in collaboration with various other partners like the Distant University of Hagen and the Rivers State University, trained over 260 people, identifying and training 15 participants as master trainers. To effectively train these people, they had to setup an education centre in Yenagoa, incorporated with a team of sociopedagogic support for project participants.
